Policies
Unsuccessful Student Policy
Students who are unsuccessful in any Columbia Medical Training course are welcome to attend another course (all or part, as needed), at no additional cost, within 18 months of the original course start date.
Students who are required to attend a Ministry of Health (EMALB) licensing session and are unsuccessful are welcome to attend another course, at no additional cost, within 6 months of their failed licensing examination session.
In both cases, Columbia Medical Training may require a learning plan to be agreed in advance between the student, their new instructor and a member of our management team. This learning plan will identify challenges faced by the student and will outline necessary actions and steps to ensure the best chance of success on future attempts.
