Course Details

Worksafe BC recognizes the skills and knowledge of First Responders, Emergency Medical Responders, and Paramedics through the Out-of-Jurisdiction certification program.  This program grants EMALB license holders an equivalent Occupational First Aid (OFA) certificate with no additional training needed.

First Responders are eligible for an Occupational First Aid Level 2 certificate.

Emergency Medical Responders or Paramedics are eligible for an Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate.

Occupational First Aid certifications are typically within 3 business days after required documents are received and are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
